At our center in Cambodia, it can get extremely hot. One of the things we like to do to cool down is this breathing exercise. It cools the body, and also leaves us feeling calm, relaxed and spacious. This is not just for those dealing with the tropical heat, it can be used anywhere all year around to bring about a tranquil mental state.
